Overview

RizCraft Toolkit is a browser productivity extension that puts 24 developer, text, image, and PDF tools directly in your side panel. We are committed to protecting your privacy — the text, files, and data you enter into a built-in tool never leave your device.

🔒 RizCraft Toolkit does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Every built-in tool — hashing, encoding, JSON formatting, PDF merging, password generation, and the rest — runs entirely in your browser using standard Web APIs. Your only saved preferences (which tools you've favourited, and which sidebar categories you've collapsed) are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.

About Tools That Open RizCraft.io

Some tools listed in the sidebar are more involved (video processing, AI features, heavier PDF/image tools) and are intentionally kept off the extension to keep it small and fast. Selecting one of these simply opens that tool's page on rizcraft.io in a new browser tab — the same as clicking a normal link. This is standard web browsing, governed by RizCraft.io's website privacy policy, and is separate from the extension's own local-only tools described above.

Permissions Explained

Permission	Purpose
sidePanel	Displays the extension's tool list and tool screens in Chrome's side panel, so you can use a tool alongside the page you're viewing.
tabs	Opens a new tab to RizCraft.io when you select a tool that isn't built into the panel, and opens the side panel when you choose "Open Toolkit" from the right-click menu.
downloads	Used only by the YouTube Thumbnail Downloader tool, so your browser can save the fetched thumbnail image to your computer.
storage	Remembers your favourited tools and collapsed sidebar categories locally, so they persist between browser sessions.
contextMenus	Adds "RizCraft Toolkit" entries to your right-click menu for converting/encoding/hashing selected text, and for generating a password, UUID, or Lorem Ipsum text on empty page space.
scripting	Runs a small one-off script in the current tab right after you click a right-click tool, to copy the result to your clipboard and show a brief on-page confirmation. No other page content is read or changed.
activeTab	Limits that clipboard-copy script to only the tab you were using at the moment you right-clicked — not standing access to any other tab.

Security & Data

● No accounts, no servers, no cloud sync — built-in tools process everything locally in your browser.
● We cannot see or access anything you type into a built-in tool.
● The extension never reads, modifies, or transmits the content of pages you visit, outside of the specific selected text a right-click tool transforms and copies to your clipboard.
● No analytics, ads, or third-party trackers are built into the extension itself.
