Free online text to handwriting converter

The text to handwriting converter turns a typed note into a page that looks written with a pen. Use it for letters, study notes, captions, cards and assignments that should not look like a default computer font. The preview updates as you type, and a long note is split into A4 pages automatically.

What you can change

  • 35 pen styles cover everyday print, cursive, and scripts for Latin, Devanagari, Bengali, Arabic, Urdu, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Hebrew. The menu names the scripts each face can draw.
  • Ink can be black, blue, red, or any custom color. The text editor can also color individual words.
  • Paper includes clean sheets, ruled and squared paper, straw stock, gift and birthday stationery, love-letter tints and Christmas borders. You can also upload a photo of your own notebook page. Drop the image on the preview.
  • Your own hand. Draw uppercase, lowercase, digits and punctuation once. The alphabet stays in this browser. Any character you have not drawn yet is filled in with Caveat so the sentence still reads.

Download and print

Download the page you are looking at as a JPG, or as a PNG when you choose “No paper” so the background stays transparent. Download PDF when the note runs past one sheet. High quality (2x) is the right choice for printing. Standard quality is a smaller file.

Ruled papers lock the writing to the lines. Plain papers can use a little natural ink variation so a paragraph does not look perfectly mechanical. The same letter still repeats, so a long passage will not fool a close look. Short notes hold up best.

How to use it

  1. Type or paste your text. Use the text editor when you want bold, italic, alignment or lists.
  2. Choose a font, size, ink color and paper. Upload a sheet if you want the note written on a real page from your desk.
  3. Draw your alphabet if you want the page in your own writing.
  4. Download a JPG of the current page, or a PDF of every page.

Your note, font, ink, paper and other settings stay in this browser, so the next visit opens the same page. Nothing you type is uploaded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which languages can I write?
Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Devanagari, Bengali, Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew, Thai, Korean, Japanese and Chinese are covered, but not by every font. The font menu lists the scripts that face supports. Right-to-left text is laid out from the right.
Can I use my own handwriting?
Yes. Choose “Draw your own handwriting”, write the letters you need, then use that set as the font. It is stored only in your browser. Characters you have not drawn yet use the Caveat pen so the line still reads.
Can I use my own paper?
Yes. Select “Upload custom paper” or drop a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF photo onto the preview. The note is written on top of that image.
What can I download?
JPG for the page currently in view, PNG if you picked “No paper”, and a single PDF that contains every page. High quality (2x) is sharp enough to print.
Will it pass as real handwriting?
At a glance, usually. A font repeats the same letterforms, so a long passage gives itself away if someone studies it. Shorter notes look more convincing. Drawing your own letters makes the shapes yours, and those shapes repeat too.
Do I lose the note if I close the tab?
No. The note, font, ink, paper and any letters you drew are kept in your own browser. Reopening the page brings them back. Reset clears the note and the settings. It does not delete a handwriting alphabet you drew.
