Tips for Better Social Previews

  • Keep titles under ~60 characters and descriptions under ~155 characters so they don't get truncated.
  • Use a 1200×630px image — this is the aspect ratio most platforms crop to.
  • Always use an absolute URL (starting with https://) for og:image and og:url — relative paths won't resolve when a crawler fetches your page.
